Isn’t there supposed to be a plug on the bottom? – Because the plug is missing on the bottom, I don’t think it sounds right. I would definitely go with another brand. What a rip…

Choose a different brand – I have ordered several of these drums for Christmas gifts, various brands. This one turned out to be the worst. The bottom piece was missing so the tones were off. One of the numbers on the keys/notes was bubbled, not laying flat. I returned it for another brand. Poor quality overall.
