Great little shakers and pics. – Hotep family. The three little shakers you get with this are a hit. You can simply rattle your hands and make the noise with it. And to make a better hit it comes with some pics to use on a guitar or are ukulele or whatever you pick. I recommend my friend you can shake these things again and again. Not loud enough – Not worth the purchase. Attached to my finger and even playing ukulele, could not hear the shake – returned

Fun to play with and add extra percussion. – Not very loud shakers individually, but, you can wear all three at the same time on your rhythm hand, that helps. The sound is subtle, for a quiet room, or if you so have an acoustic mic nearby to pick up the shaker sound on your fingers, like near the soundhole of the guitar, or overhead near hand drums, that will work. (I guess you can play barefoot and place them on your toes as well, that’ll do it too.) They are reasonably priced enough to play around with. I need to double check where the cylinders are plugged, to make sure those ends don’t pop off… if they are loose I might just add a little super glue, and if they are open, you might place some more bearings in them to give each a little different sound.
