mostly great – these rubber tip doodads are mostly great. all in all, better that other name brand rubber tip doodads i’ve tried before. these are a little loose on my 7A sticks, but i figure they would fit some 5B sticks way better. they DO NOT slip off as easy as other name brand ones i have tried, which is the #1 reason i gave these a shot compared to other trusted brands.

Theyre ok – These honestly didnt dampen the noise of drums by too much, mostly cymbals but in all honesty if you really want to play quiter just get some electric drums lol these are 100% durable, quality silicone, they were a very snug fit on my 7a sticks so not very large tips but it just didnt do as much as i expected it to:/ for the price yeah id definitely recommend you get them if you want slightly quiter drumming but just know its not by much

Drum Mutes? – The reason I bought these was to possibly help deter putting holes in my mesh practice heads. I have not had them long but I believe they will help tremendously

Church band. . . – Gonna put them on our hands sticks and see if they help dampen sound to lessen vocal background noise for our church band.

Does not reduce volume – The noise will have a slightly lower pitch, but it doesn’t make it less loud. It can be used to make a hard surface bouncy for practicing, but it will still be as loud as you’d expect from hitting the table with wooden sticks. It had absolutely no effect on the noisyness of an ekit. They should not call it a drum “mute”.

Wonderful solution to keeping your volume down while retaining your kits tone! – …I’ve had these about a week & love them! I was wondering about options when a stick breaks a tip. I’ve only been playing about two years, and I’m always concerned about is being too LOUD while I practice. I’ve tried bundled rod sticks (which are certainly quieter,) but you lose a lot of rebound. I use SoundOff drum mute pads on snare & toms which help a lot, but I then tend to hit them harder to get enough rebound. These tips are a great solution. They give both toms and cymbals a warm tone to ring out without the sharp initial attack, at about 1/3 the volume. The rebound has a wonderful feel to it, both on the drum set and on any hard surface, (without marking it up). I don’t want to put the sticks down, (which is what you’re looking for if you want to get better!)
