Nice solid but light instrument. – I thought that it would be fun to add a tambourine to my instrument collection but because of my good luck with Aklot stringed instruments, I checked them out online to see what they had to offer. I did some comparison shopping with other makes of tambourines and decided that for their money, I’ll go what Aklot. The instrument is both solidly constructed and lightweight and sounds good. You could send more for one but why for an instrument that is meant to be somewhat of a background instrument. Only negative might be that the jingles seem a bit thin and flimsy but they sound fine especially when playing along with others. So, considering price point and sound, I’m very happy with this tambourine.
