should let you know you are going to have to sand them and do all the work – it was not clear that these are not presanded with a hole drilled

Good quality, check sizing – Good quality, but they were the incorrect diameter for my cello. They would have needed to be seriously trimmed, so I ended getting some from my luthier and donated these to him. The sizing tools I had would not accept these pegs.

When they came I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were solid black wood. That was helpful since I had to whittle the peg down & drill the string hole to fit our cello (I chose the wrong size). Very satisfied wihht the purchase.

Cheap tuning pegs for cheap student instrument – We have to sand down these tuning pegs to make them fit a student cello. But they work. I guess that’s the name of the game.

mother of peral dot on the end an added bonus. – Was able to carve these down to proper size and fit them snugy. Make sure to use peg drops to ensure tight fit. Love the mother of peral inlays on the tips. Matches my bow perfectly. That was a nice added bonus.
