I’m obsessed – Been wanting to buy a kalimba for ages, saw this one and had to get it. It’s so gorgeous, looks just like the pictures, and sounds absolutely beautiful, plus it comes with a decent case for it. 100/10 definitely worth it, esp love the iridescent cat shape :3

Happy – I’m glad it arrived well and unharmed. I was scared it would get damaged on the way but it didn’t. It was packaged in a box that came in an envelope. The finger covers were hidden at the bottom of the running fork, in case you can’t find them, but I prefer to use the kalimba without them. There are four round rubber feet to keep it from sliding and getting scratched if you put it down outside of the case. The case is a hard case with fitted padding. Most importantly, it plays beautifully. I waited 2 years to get a bigger kalimba. I’ve only owned a tiny one. I’ve been looking for a rainbow cat one without an ugly logo on the front like most have. I’m glad this one doesn’t. This was the perfect choice for me.

So much fun – My New Years resolution this year was to learn to play a new instrument and while I’m still learning, this thumb piano has been fun to learn. The backing on this thumb piano is really sturdy, stable and thick. When it comes to holding it, it fits comfortably in my hand. This really does come with everything not just to store away safely but everything to help me learn what notes are where and the thumb covers have really come in handy to protect my thumbs. At first I wasn’t wearing them but noticed that my thumbs were getting a little sore. After a few days of rest, I decided to use those covers and they really did make a difference. Not to mention, they actually help with plucking the keys. The booklet that this comes with has been really helpful when it comes to learning how to play and tune this to where it needs to be. I didn’t think this would really sound calming but even while playing this, it really does have a calming and relaxing sound. This has really helped with stress and anxiety I’ve been feeling. Not to mention, is a very different instrument but found that I actually love it.
