Didn’t work very good for me but YMMV – I bought a new Martin D18 several months ago and some of these Boveda packs after reading on different forums people suggested these humidity packs to keep the guitar at the optimal humidity. They didn’t work that good for me. I don’t know how long they’re supposed to take but i tried for 2 weeks. I did exactly as they suggested one in the guitar hole, one in the neck pocket. I also bought the hydrometer that was suggested with it because that seemed like a good idea. Keep that in the guitar case along with everything.

They’re pretty great when you live in dry-as-heck Colorado, and they’re a less worrisome than normal humidifiers, especially if you need to transport your instruments to and from work.
