C. L (verified owner) –
I want these frogs played at my funeral after I “croak” – I both live and die for these small wooden frogs. The incredible craftsmanship of them really shines in the imperfections, which makes them so much better. The ridges on my blue frog are more consistent and larger, making a more guttural croak, the kind of thing you’d hear on a classic toad or bullfrog, think something large and dense, such as a cane toad. The yellow frog has ridges that are smaller, more numerous, and ever so slightly have different angles. This is perfectly representative of a classic tree frog. I hear this and I am INSTANTLY transported to the jungles of Vietnam listening to the mossy tree frogs call out for mates after a large storm. On that note, that may be triggering for some. Frog with caution. Overall, these frogs have brought me so much amphibian induced serotonin, second only to my two Amazon Milk Frogs, who I hope grow up to make similar sounds to what these guys do.
