The actual size is much smaller than images portray – I like the sound and the design. It is however plastic not hide. Most importantly I was shocked at the actual size as I was expecting what I saw on all of the images which was a factor in my purchase. I decided not to return it as I have a lot of drums I use for me Reiki and the sound is solid.

Don’t waste your money! – This drum is a joke. Sounds terrible. The colors are not representative, in the photo, as to what you actually get. If so, I would have been willing to hang it as art. For me, quality, sound, and sight are extremely poor quality.

About what you’d expect for the price. – The frame is wood and looks solid. The head is probably parchment or some kind of vegetable leather held on by glue and/or the tape around the sides. The tape looks like wide electrical tape. The bottom is a glued on cutout of wood with a printed design. The drumstick has a piece of fake fur tied to one end. The sound depends on whether you hit the drum with the side that has thicker or thinner “fur”. The main tone is okay, but it has a tinny undertone, The top is pretty, the bottom – meh.
