Great string – I have a Jericho Guitars Edge 6 27″ scale baritone. I used this string to replace the .062 low B string because I drop tuned it to drop A, and I wanted something with a little more tension. This string sounds great, and is plenty long enough for a baritone. Wish they would do them in 3 packs!

Strong, resonant and has lasted all year without issue. – Loved it, I never liked 59gauge for B standard on a 25.5 scale Ibanez 7 string so having this with a normal ball end for a fixed bridge is much better than the bass strings i used to buy, cheaper too. Has lasted an entire year.

The wind up and the pitch – if your tired of hearing your guitar sound like a banjo or worse, try this string as your “G” string. An unwound “G” string is easy to bend, but the tone is horrible unless you are playing metal and then the nuances are sort of lost in the processes. If you are playing jazz or blues or anything where the notes ring out, it will become obvious to your ear very quickly that your “G” string is producing some odd sounds.
