Sturdy and…Loud – I’ve no written this review sooner as I have been waiting to use the kazoo more. Upon first opening the package, I was impressed with the construction and appearance. It is very sturdy (as opposed to those plastic numbers). Has a cover for the mouthpiece and even comes with a lanyard so it can be worn around the neck..not sure I’d so that as opposed to putting it in a pocket, etc. The construction is so solid that I’d not at all be afraid of breaking it. Comes with about a half dozen membranes. Upon first use, it was quiet and did not make much of a noise, but after a while (e.g., loosening up the membrane a bit), it is quite loud and responsive to my humming. I am very impressed and pleased with this product.

The Coolest Kazoo Ever! – I got my first kazoo when I was a little kid. A long time ago. My father could actually make music with an improvised one made out of a comb and piece of waxed paper. Mine was just a cheap metal tube with a cheap membrane. I thought making music by humming into the little tube was cool. Until, of course, I blew out the membrane.

First real kazoo – I have not had a kazoo since I was a kid and those were toy kazoos. This was my first real kazoo it has been fun. I would say my children, especially my 2yo daughter wanted to play it the moment she heard it. It is a quality product and it was good to see it came with extra membranes. The membranes also are a quality product so I expect they will last for some time. You will have to stretch the membrane by gently pressing on it after installed until you feel it is where you want it. It has a cover for the mouthpiece and is easy to clean. Overall, it has been a fun addition to the musical instruments in the home.

Kids Love It – This is a nice upgrade from the plastic toy kazoos we had as kids. The finish is nice, it’s heavy duty, and it plays well.

high quality for a kazoo – Nice and heavy for a kazoo and all my friends think it sounds great. The color is cool as well (turquoise in my case). The instructions aren’t really in English so you’re on your own for figuring out how the tone shifting works.
