Very happy with trumpet – I am so tickled with this trumpet. I haven’t had a new horn in 40 years and decided to buy a new one. I was hesitant to spend the money, but it’s worth every penny. The trumpet itself is beautiful with the gold and rose gold accents. It plays very easy, enabling me to hit a high C with little effort. I would highly recommend this trumpet to anyone, and a couple of my friends are already talking about buying one also. A+.

Awesome Value – I was a little nervous buying this horn for around $200 only. I knew it might not sound good or be difficult for my new student to play. I was amazed at the quality, the sound and ease of playing. Upper and lower range were good and the valves are amazing, better than my $3k pro trumpet. It came oiled and lubed lightly but I would recommend oiling the valves and adding a little slide grease before using the valves or slides as some users have reported sticking immediately. Superb value and the black nickel with engraving is so rarely seen these days.

You get what you pay for – You get what you pay for, man. Works great with solid sound quality in the standard B flat register, but the partials become a bit hard to discern after reaching the G just above the staff. Fantastic for beginners, and with practice, the higher registers will become workable. Is it equivalent to a professional model? No, but then again, if you were a pro, you wouldn’t be buying this. Great little trumpet for the price, you won’t regret it.

Great Looking, But Not Up to Quality – I bought this trumpet hoping to play it for my college marching band, but when I received it, all of the sliders were stuck and couldn’t be opened to clean them or grease them. The valves were also stuck and it came with several spots where there may or may not have been glue? It sounds muffled constantly and It’s hard to clean if none of the sliders will move. It looks great, but needs to be checked more, cleaned, and greased/oiled before shipping so that we avoid valves and sliders getting stuck.
