good for the price – i bought this because i needed one for my dorm (i’m a music major). it’s good for the price but the volume i think is broken, it won’t go down past 2 so i either have to plug in headphones or practice when my neighbors are gone, which defeats the whole point of why i bought it. i think it’s fine for beginners but the keys aren’t weighted which might throw people off, and you have to press on them fairly hard to get them to make sound. sometimes if you play a chord and you’re not pressing hard enough on one key it cuts in and out and that’s annoying for when i have to play for quizzes. the headphone jack is useful but there’s a lot of static feedback in it so it gets annoying. i guess i knew what i was getting into for the price, but be aware of that when you buy. i’d still recommend it if you’re not using it for class like i am or practicing more casually.

Son loves it, I like the headphone port. – My son takes piano lessons and while we usually have him practice on the actual piano, this little guy is great for practice. Mainly because he likes to play the same portion of a single song over and over (who wouldn’t like to hear the first bar of the Harry Potter theme endlessly?). Being able to yell “hey kid, learn the rest of the song or use headphones” is wonderful. Plus if we go somewhere, he can bring it along and do his piano lessons remotely.

Amazing. – We loved the keyboard got this as a Christmas gift for the husband. This is grate for those who just want to play some music and have fun making music or writing songs and singing them. The sound os grate on it. However the thing to keep in mind if your a pro on the keyboard this one is not a high tec keyboard those cost a lot more. But this was worth the price we payed for it.
