These are “ok” – First, the promised “tomtom” sound is Not a tom. It’s pretty much just noise. The special options Crash and Cymbal are pretty good, not great but “ok.” You do have to hit pretty hard to get the tips to light up, and since you don’t have a “light no sound” option, you can’t really use the lights because the native sound is so bad. I kept them because I needed practice sticks anyway and I have a tom, so I just use them with the power off. Depending on what you want them for, I wouldn’t really recommend them. But then, the options for lighted sticks are iffy at best, if you read the reviews.
