Simple Set of Chimes – This is a very simple set of three chimes. Not much to look at, but it see,s well made. Included are three chimes in a single wooden frame and a small wooden mallet. Each chime is a different note. These chimes are suitable for healing and energy work, but I wish they would resonate longer after being struck (I have a set of and chimes that resonate much longer than these). It’s much smaller than some of the pictures would have you believe (look at the picture of it being held in someone’s hand if you want to get a sense of its true size, the other pictures make it look much bigger than it actually is). While it does everything it is supposed to do, I’me somewhat underwhelmed.

Simple Instrument – I ordered the three-tone instrument and received the one-tone instrument, perhaps because it is for a Vine review, so the one-tone instrument is what I am reviewing. The tone is clear, somewhat high pitched, and resonates for awhile after sounding. Hopefully, if you order this product, you will receive the version you expect.

The striker does not fit under the chime the way it is supposed to. – I bought this to replace one I had for over 10 years-I am a teacher and I used it in my classroom every day. This one is not as good-the striker, or hammer, or whatever you call it, doesn’t fit under the chime like it is supposed to. It is a little too large. The chime looks fine otherwise and rings beautifully. I haven’t decided if I will send it back or just live with the ill-fitting striker.

Too small – I use it for my class to get student attention and you wouldn’t think this – but it’s hard to hit the actually bell. Its a small metal chime, and it would be better if there were more than one chime. Hard to hit the mark. Defeats the purpose. Should have gotten a three chimer for class.
