Overpriced but I’m happy with it – Made the right choice for my strat. Amp is dark so I like the option to get extra brightness. Overpriced for what it is. The components that come with it are fine. Easy to install.

Watch out for heat build up – This was fairly easy to install on a Fender American Deluxe Strat with Delta tone. It sounds great with no noise but is, at least for the moment, a bit stiffer than the factory pot that it replaced (one tab broke off the split shaft). Just be very careful to watch out for heat build up when soldering the ground and the cap to the case – I used a Weller 25 watt and it heated the case very quickly without overheating it. Let it cool after each solder joint and all will go well. This pot does have the detent at the 10 position.

This is a tone & blender pot. Not for volume. – Slapped it in a Strats #2 tone knob (lower) and rewired it to get all 7 pickup combinations.

Great function, somewhat delicate – I’ve had nothing but issues with these pots – clamping tabs are always loose, have to manually crimp down so the bottom doesn’t come spinning loose tightening them to a pickguard. The metal contact tabs are of questionable quality as they can break with high enough heat (I only use a 40w pencil iron). I know I’m no beast of a man and work with plenty of other durable CTS pots that are trouble-free, so it’s curious that these are so poor in comparison.
