What is that overtone? – Unpleasant overtones on the E string. This is with my solid body Yamaha bass I’ve used for years. I hear it through three different bass amps.

  2. K. Z (verified owner)

A DECENT BASS STRING FOR LOW DOUGH – Are these the best bass strings money can buy? Nope! But they sure fit the bill on price ever since the world went whacky and started inflating prices out of control. The metallurgy seems better compared the other low cost bass strings and the wrap is not overly tight. They feel good on your fingers and have all the slap and pop of Rotosounds of Daddarios. The core may have a bit thin diameter which may cause breakage down the line if you’re hard on them, but right out the gate, they’re alive and springy with no unpleasant ring or dead spots. SEEMS LIKE A GOOD CONSISTANT STRING!

  3. R. A (verified owner)

Sweet tunes – I used these on my Yamaha. Played better than before. Made my baby sound beautiful lol acoustic and electric. Definitely purchasing more for my other bass.

  4. K. M (verified owner)

Surprisingly good. – These are pretty nice. They are not my favorite. They die from their original state pretty fast. I’d say it be good for a P-Bass sound but little more.

Buenas. Pero no duran tanto. – Más cómodas son las DR strings. Pero por el precio valen la pena las fender.

  7. O. P (verified owner)

No me gustó – No me tanto el producto.

  8. F. P (verified owner)

The sound you hear in your head when you think ‘bass’ – i love these and less than $20 is awesome. BUT! These are a traditional sound! If you want bright, modern and aggressive then get DR’s or Rotosounds.

Good price for bass strings – I bought these for a Squire Class Vibe Jazz bass. No complaints, sound great.
