    Looks good and does the job – Fits perfect on my telecaster parts guitar.

    Junk. – Fender can put out some real junk these days. I always use a screw driver and adequate pressure to avoid stripping any screws, but on of the included screws snapped into leaving the bottom portion stuck in the guitar. I had drill it out and take some wood out around to dislodge the wood screw from my guitar. Junk.

    Direct replacement for fender strap buttons – These are exactly what come standard on fender guitars and basses (at least from the MIM factory). My complaint with these are the same as any other standard strap buttons, which is that it is not uncommon for the strap to come off of the button, which could be very dangerous for your guitar. I’m a straplock guy, not everyone is, but if you use these at least opt for a “strap block” option, like the little black/ red fender ones.

    Look great, wider to hold strap well. –  I love the machined look. You can see the lathe marks. They don’t look cheap like most overseas manufacturers.
