Worked like a charm – I put this on the old fender with a little wood glue. Restrung it and was up and jamming in no time. Of course after the wood glue set.

Not bad for not bone – I needed a nut for a knock off strat that broke. I tried a non-name brand that stated it was for a strat or tele. The thing needed so much sanding and when I finally got it to fit it snapped. So I decided to try this nut. It needed a little bit of sanding and it slid right in. Go for the few extra $$ and get a fender brand if you have to replace the nut on a fender guitar.

It’s not bone! – I ordered this accidentally and thought I had ordered something else, they’ll just hang on my wall as an ornament or maybe hang then on my Christmas tree. They just won’t make on my build ups, but they’re fine ok ish.

Prefect! – Prefect fit. If you have a neck Slot that is cut to Fender specs these nuts pop right. They are cut a few mm wide to allow you to sand the nut down to a prefect blend for your neck width.

Pretty good when you short on time and/or money – Fixed my Standard Stratocaster(MIM) with a minimum of time required for fitting, so handy, and I’m happy. I know that the material isn’t bone, but I needed something that I could install myself so I didn’t have to spend money taking it to a shop, and that wouldn’t take an afternoon that I didn’t have to spend for me to fit it. Sounds like the original, which is pretty good IMO.

It was almost perfect to begin with – Dropped right into my vintage 52 hot rod tele. The sides had about .1mm overhang so I took 400 grit paper and made a few passes on each side. I carefully checked to make sure I did not take off too much. It was almost perfect to begin with.
