A pair of genuine Fender parts. – So you want to change the tip on your tremolo arm? Can’t find a YouTube video on it? Neither did I.

May be genuine, but doesn’t fit – This may be a genuine fender replacement part, but it does not fit a mad-in-mexico trem arm. The hole is slightly too narrow. I was able to get mine on by very carefully using a drill to widen the hole, but only after messing up and destroying one. Still gave two stars because it does match the aged white of other plastic parts on my strat.

Installation – Like the other reviews said, it is tight and difficult to install. If you have trouble getting the old one off, I would recommend applying some heat. I did this by holding it over the gas burner on my stove for a few seconds and using some pliers to pull it off, but this will likely destroy your old tip. I was able to get the new tip started on the whammy bar, but could not slide it on no matter how much pressure I applied. I decided to boil some water and let the whammy bar and tip soak in it for a few minutes. After doing this, I applied some pressure on the whammy bar by pushing down on my counter top and the tip slide right on. Hope this helps.

Perfect replacement – Perfect replacement for Fender MIM tremolo arms. These are the correct ones.

Does not fit MIM trem arms 🙁 – I ordered this as the description lists it fits a variety of arms, but it was far too tight of a fit for mine, which is a standard mim. Looks great it just won’t go on.

Poor fit for my ’97 American Strat – Too small of a diameter from Fender. Used heat, lubricant, purchased again after damage. Still not perfect.
