Works for Squier 50s CV – I decided to replace the entire switch plate, pots and install a 4-way switch into my CV 50 Tele. This switch plate worked perfectly as a replacement in that guitar.

Doesnt fit Obsidian Wire 4 way kit – Despite the fact that it didn’t fit the obsidian wire kit, it was a simple fix and just widened down the switch opening on the plate. Overall an easy workaround and would definitely recommend to someone looking for a plate for their kit.

Fender Parts Foreign Manufacture – Replacement for Fender control plate or in my case upgraded configuration to hold higher end electronics in my Telecaster knock offs. I have purchased two of these I needed to put higher end electronics in my Telecaster style guitars. They did the job. I used some prewired solderless parts that had 1/4 inch solid shafts on the pots. They also required Fender control plates because of the location of the holes. They were on a circuit board. Great upgrade both guitars sound more like the real deal now.

Quality of these have gone downhill… very thin now… ?? – I’ve used these for years now building custom guitars… only to received a few lately the were really thin… wondering if they are knockoff so or not… ?? Next time I get a thin one, its getting sent back… DoPro control plates much better lately… thicker (cant bend with fingers) and better chrome finish… WTH Fender???

issa plate. gen-you-wine. – I got this to replace a Squier Tele plate, because I want to add a coiltap switch between the pots, and with this plate the holes are spaced further apart than on the Squier plate. , leaving plenty of room for another switch or even another knob. exactly what I was looking for.
