does not stay on the guitar – this is ok if you just want a cheap replacement knob but i could not get this to stay on the guitar for long. no matter how hard i tightened, it always eventually fell off after a bit of light use.

Knobs… something Fender is still doing right – I dolled up my ’94 Fender P Bass, and I gotta say, I’ve recently had rotten luck with OEM Fender parts. Pickguards, locking strap buttons, and pickup height screws have all been a bust. In fact, the only OEM replacement parts that actually installed and worked well are these potentiometer knobs. I doubt this small victory is enough to keep me loyal to OEM parts… but hey, it’s enough to satisfy my pot knob needs.
