Almost fits entirely in my 8-month old’s mouth… – This is a very nice, well-made, wooden toy and my baby actually loves it, but it almost fits entirely in her mouth (she is 8 months old). She continuously tries to shove the entire thing in her mouth and is very determined about it, so I do not leave her alone with this toy because it almost looks like she could fit it in if she kept trying. Kind of scary…

Great Egg Shakers – I bought two of these eggs to put in my 20 month old daughter’s Easter basket. The size is similar to the plastic shaker eggs we use in our weekly music class (fit perfectly in toddler hands); however, I prefer eco-friendly, non-plastic toys wherever possible, so these were a great alternative for use at home! As another reviewer mentioned, these have a slightly muted (and very pleasing) sound compared to the standard plastic egg shakers. They also sounds nice when knocked together, as my daughter enjoys to do. Overall, great product!
