My grandson LOVED it – Purchased this for my 3 year old grandson. It is one of the better made guitars I have seen. He loves it! Now his sister who is turning 5 wants one.

Bought in 2018 and still use! – There are a few scrapes in the paint on the edges but my 2 kids have had this for 4 years! Its the most played with toy and surprisingly hasn’t broken at all! They are 4.5 and 7 now and still love strumming along while listening to music or making their own 2 person band!

Great for little hands – My 6 month old son has an affinity for guitars, his father plays guitar, and he’s always been interested in trying to strum like him. We bought him the battat guitar with the fabric strings, but he’d get upset that he couldn’t strum it. As soon as we gave him this ukele he started strumming, and it sounds pretty good for what it is. I would definitely get this for a young child who’s interested in guitars, it’s durable, and a good starter.

Nice starter instrument! – I was pleased of the quality and durability of the ukulele for my grandson. Great starter instrument!

Great way to introduce kids to music. Keep music fun! – This is no concert-quality ukelele, but it’s actually pretty darn good. It’s probably fair to say that I’m a bit of an instrument snob. I play cello, violin, electric and acoustic guitar, and piano, so I know a thing or two. But I’m really happy with this purchase.

So cute. Very durable – I bought this for my grandson he loves it. He’s three years old so he’s very rough on it and it’s holding up very well

Broke quickly, difficulty tuning – The neck broke on this ukelele very quickly. It was not thrown or used as a weapon but my kids aren’t exactly gentle with things either. For something marketed to young kids, I would have expected it to be more durable. Also we were never able to tune it to be anything more than a toy. It doesn’t live up to the standard that I have grown to expect from Hape

High quality, still going strong after 4+ years and frequent toddler use – This is a high quality child instrument and we’ve been enjoying it for several years. It’s less expensive than one I purchased at a souvenir shop in Hawaii, but has a nicer sound. The souvenir shop one broke years ago, but we still use this one frequently. My child enjoys strumming and plucking the strings. My spouse is also able to play some nice songs on this Hape ukulele.
