      It’s also pretty heavy for a baby (mine’s 1) which makes it … – Normally I want my kids toys to be as quiet as possible, so it feels weird to say this but my issue with the clatterpillar is that it’s not very loud…very little “clatter”. It’s also pretty heavy for a baby (mine’s 1) which makes it even harder for him to make noise with this thing.

      pinching hazard – The item is attractive and shipped quickly, but it is easy for small fingers to get pinched between the pieces and it isn’t very loud.

I have my 3 yr old and 10 mos. old in Music Together classes, and this has been my 3 yr old’s fave instrument to play with during instrument play time for well over a year. We finally decided to get our own to add to our instrument collection. Perfect for his stocking this year!
