This is a nice 6-hole whistle – I wasn’t expecting this handmade instrument to play so well. It plays almost the same as the factory-made lower-keyed Irish tin whistles. I use the exact same music and the same playing style as I do with my Irish tin whistles and the low whistles. I say that this “Indian Glance Traditional Wooden Flute” from India is appropriate for any age. I could have learned on this handmade 6-hole flute instead of on the Irish Tin Whistles manufactured in a factory. You use the breath control as you do for the low whistles. This is a satisfactory purchase and I will enjoy playing it for many years. If you play professionally, then you want the ones made in the factory.

They don’t really makes any sound when you blow into them – They are pretty to look at, very rustic, but they don’t really make a sound when you blow. I might return them.

Don’t waste your money. – Horrible purchase. Opened up the package. It was raw wood not even finished, the holes that were drilled out weren’t even cleaned up it still had splinters. #1 Only 2 holes play notes #2 only 3 holes play notes. I’ve been considering buying a wooden flute for a few years now and this was a major let down. Terrible quality period
