One broke not once, BUT TWICE, customer service is helpful though – As soon as I strung these on my viola, the third string broke, “thank god it’s a set of two”, I thought to myself. I put the second third string on as a replacement and BEHOLD….IT BROKE AGAIN! Both third strings are broken now, I had to reuse the old one for the time being, pretty disappointed to be honest, I am familiar with stringed instruments, and I haven’t had back to back string breaks before. *EDIT*

A review from someone who knows zilch about strings – Well, we inherited a viola from Uncle Bob. Uncle Bob was an amazing guy, a machinist from upstate New York who settled down in So. Louisiana after WWII. When he was young, he got so interested in violins that he checked a book out of a library about how to make one. And he did! In fact he made several violins and a few violas as well. One ended up being played by a member of the New Orleans Philharmonic.
