Beautifully made – The quality of the wood is very pretty super nice size and weight for your hands or even in a small lap. The sound is not super great but for the price and what it is you can learn scales in it and concepts of music. It’s a great gift

My first Kalimba, and best – After ordering this I ordered 3 others for gifts… but my mistake was NOT ordering this 3 more times!! I figured out how to play is and the sound is great! Only problem is it showed me that the other 3 were far less superior. I must have lucked out getting this first. One of the biggest differences is that 2 others do not have “sound holes”. This, with sound holes, is WAY WAY louder!!!! Secondly, the sound quality on this seems much better than any of the others. If I had a do-over I’d have just bought 4 of THESE. Great, fun, instrument!
