Disappointed but I understand the practicability – This is a good microphone for everyday personal use only. The sound quality is great for the price. The pop filter is actually pretty good. My issue is the stand is very flimsy. Also a big issue for me is this the isn’t a microphone that can be used under professional settings. It’s a static sound that can be heard with prolonged use. It wouldn’t suggest this for a podcast or in professional settings. The quality isn’t up to par for that. But just to talk to friends and family like on a family zoom meeting or such it would be a great addition. It’s worth a bit for strictly personal use.

great mic! – The included stand is kind of flimsy. Without logs for the legs to position it how you’d like, it just kind of defaults to a fully splayed out position. Otherwise, I love this mic! Setup was easy since you just need to plug things in to get it working, The sound quality is crisp and clear, though it is really quiet when you move more than a few inches away from the mic so you’ll probably wanna keep this positioned nice and close to your face for best sound quality. I’d say this is a really decent beginner mic for people just wanting to get into using them for things like streaming, or even just for doing voice calls.

Mic sounds great, inexpensive. – I liked how this Mic sounded overall, the pop filter worked pretty well. The tripod stand is proprietary, so if you’re considering mounting this to something else, this one might not work for you. I would have used a different mounting system than the one chosen as it limits you from mounting it on an overhead boom. The supplied mic stand was ok, but I prefer the freedom of a different mount. I measured the threads on the attached stand and it looks like a 5/8″-27 thread. For flexibility I would recommend a crab clamp with a 1/4″ mini ball head and a 5/8″-27 screw attached, and you’d have an absolute winner of an inexpensive mic with good sound. It also has a mute button right on the mic itself, so that’s convenient! I’m not sure I’d call it a streamers mic right out of the gate, but improvements can always be made. Still worth a purchase for the value.

Even standing 6 inches away you can dramatically hear the difference in sound which isn’t too bad. No gain control or anything on the mic itself so you’ll have to control that manually depending on what you’re using it on.
