The sound is great! – This is my second kalimba, the first one I purchased has 17 keys, it works perfectly. I love how stable the high note is compared to the 17 keys, it sounds more stable and solid. Unfortunately I haven’t really had chance to play the low note yet but besides you need to have a bigger hand to take fully control, everything works perfectly.

Also sounded tuned so that was good for us as I know nothing about these instruments. It’s beautiful! The color is as vibrant as the picture and the craftsmanship is great! I wanted to give 5 stars but we are struggling to tune one key as it became out of tune and that may be our error on how to tune it. It comes with the tuning hammer so we just need to figure out how to tune it. Otherwise I highly recommend purchasing this lovely instrument.
