Bad adhesive – The adhesive on these was terrible. Sides of the tape kept coming up, and when I finally removed the strips there was a lot of residue left behind, and it was not easy to remove. Stick with painter’s tape cut into strips with a straight edge and a razor knife.

Perfect for beginning/intermediate students – I’m a professional violinist and teacher of 24 years. I go through these bad boys like there’s no tomorrow. I teach in VA and the humidity is high, so with the sweat and use of the fingerboard, tapes just move. These guys are sturdy, stay on better than any others I’ve ever used and are beautiful. Some of my older students don’t like to have tapes on their instruments. These? They’ll let me put on. I have at least ten packs in my home at all times. Come the apocalypse, I’m grabbing my kids, a water filter, our instruments and these bad boys. 😉 Food be darned.
