Great for learning – It came with white gloves and it should be handled with white glove care. I mean we are really careful when assembling and disassembling this instrument because it feels like the keys could just snap and break with ease. Definitely not high quality metallurgy but I did buy the protection plan just in case. For what I paid it’s worth every penny. My son is in 4th grade and the important thing here is learning the fingering and technical operation. I’ll buy a “real” clarinet if he gets good and sticks with it. This is real, but because it’s so cheap it’s kind of toyish. I’m no expert on sound quality but it doesn’t have a robust sound in my opinion.

Kid loved it – Kid loved it she opened the case put it together an started practicing now she’ll be able to take to school and i wont have worry about the schools instruments an have pay for rental for her its perfect. Only proi had was the ups left it infront of my garage in the rain i never got message saying it was delivered only message wasvits running late an would be delivered friday but it was infact left out in rain i guess didnt wanna put it up on porch

From someone with 10+ years of Clarinet experience – I normally play on wooden clarinets. For the price it’s alright. Beginners will get a decent value out of it to learn, and probably their first years of and. I’m not sure how long the pad quality will last but with some normal care from day one it can probably last a bit.

A few tips to help you make the most of it! – I bought this product second hand from Amazon. Only the high notes worked and their were leaks that effect the sound. I got it fixed and adjusted for $20 at a music store and now it plays awesome. I highly recommend having all instruments adjusted after you buy it off of Amazon. It costs around $20 and makes a big difference. I recommend buying better reeds and a mouthpiece that is around $20 at the very least that has good reviews. It helps to have a back up one anyway! It is affordable, and once adjusted sounds really good!
