– I rarely give bad reviews, but this is expensive and terrible quality. The reviews gave me hope that I would be making a good investment but my experience prooved me wrong. The violin sounds bad, the strings are cheap and break easily, the violin doesn’t stay tuned because the tuning handles don’t turn. If it did work, it wouldn’t work for long because the area where the tuning handles are are just cheap wooden holes that would warp in time and become useless. I’m very disappointed with the quality of this instrument. I wish I could’ve viewed the reviews of people who’ve owned this violin for more then 3 months. Sure it’ll work when you first play it, but if you want quality, for it to last or to at least play it more then once, please spend the extra dollar for better quality or don’t buy this at all. Unless you want to be spending tones of money and hours trying to fix your violin. 🙁

– I want to be fair because this is a very low-cost instrument, and some aspects of it are remarkably decent for the money, but it is possible that a better quality instrument that would have a nicer, more resonant tone and sustain could end up costing only slightly more – details why below:

Give It a Chance – I bought this for my 8 year-old niece for Christmas. She’s been begging to have a violin for as long as I can remember, and I can guaranty she won’t be disappointed with this instrument.

TERRIFIC VIOLIN, READ ABOUT WHAT I CHANGED AND MY COMPARISON WITH A MORE EXPENSIVE VIOLIN – I bought this violin back in July 2018, Mendini MV300. I am 63 and purchased it for myself. I did not want to spend a lot of money on a more expensive one and find my old body could not hold and bow it properly. I was able to.
