Love it! – This is a very reasonably priced recorder. I bought it for my 6 y/o son who is learning to use it in school. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. My son loves the red color and it’s relatively easy to clean. The sound of the recorder is great for a new learner. I imagine there are likely professional recorders that probably sound awesome, but this one certainly does the trick for a beginner.

A pain to separate out for cleanings – It’s a great product overall, but when it’s time to take the recorder apart to wash, it is a huge pain. very very hard to pull, not smooth. I got this for my son who wanted to copy his older sister with her recorder lessons from school, so I cheaped out and got this one for him. So I can firsthand share that not all recorders are made the same! My daughter’s recorder comes apart so easily and smoothly, whereas this one is always a battle, has me cursing under my breath, and just frustrating. My son now knows, uh oh it’s time to clean my recorder mommy is not going to like this. So just beware and I would say, shell out the extra $ for the better recorders you find here.
