Convenient – It is well made and ‘feels’ like a piece of furniture in our living room. I like having my guitar readily available to practice anytime right next to me.

Elegant look, high quality materials – I have a matte, vaguely black Ovation guitar (“ebony” stain), so I really wasn’t sure whether the walnut or sapele would look better. I ended up going for the walnut, as I thought it might “disappear” better (since the point is displaying the beautiful guitar—not displaying the display); I also liked the more subtle vs. very stripey wood grain. I don’t have the sapele stand to compare, but I’m not disappointed with my choice (though, as a matter of personal taste, I wish the stain was darker; it seems like it might be a bit darker in the product images, though it’s not too far off).

Mine has no relief in the vertical for an acoustic, so i can only do electric – The pictures show relief in the vertical piece. Mine has no relief. It is functionally straight, and one of the screws provided is not long enough to reach the female. I am wondering of they put the felt on the wrong side of the wood? It’s ok for the money. If these two things were fixed it would be a pretty good deal. I have many types of stands. For primary living rooms I recommend the all wood zither.

This is a GREAT Deal on a nice Guitar Stand – The item was shipped promptly, the packaging protected the contents and the stand is great.

Nice display – This thing came with slightly mismatched pieces that I could not put together. Fortunately my son was visiting and was able to “heft” it together. Once together, it does its job and nicely displays my acoustic guitar. After a couple of weeks it appears to be holding together. I would be very upset were it to fall apart at the expense of a nice guitar. In this case I guess I got what I paid for
