Too dim – It’s really dim. I needed a light that is bright for the dark corner of my shop. It light up enough for you to see the way but is too dim to do detail work. But it’s better than nothing. Found something a lot better later on so might use this one for night reading instead.

Extremely versatile, useful and well made – I’ve had one of these lights for over two years and just bought another. The battery lasts a long time, and they’re easy to charge. You can charge while using. This light is so versatile because it clips onto things, has two lights that work independently of each other, has flexible necks and three brightness settings. I use one clipped to my nightstand drawer so I can easily see everything I need without waking my early-to-bed husband. It’s very handy for finding dropped items because the necks are so flexible. I use the other in my home office clipped to a document stand so I can see the text in a room that lacks much natural light. This light is not glaring and is a nice white. The clip is strong enough not to slide around but is very easy to use. I’ve bought several “reading” lights over the years. This is the best. The lights that hang around the neck are too heavy and give me a headache. Other lights don’t shed enough light on a book because they only have a single light. Lights that do shed light over a whole book are too bright and glaring. Batteries in other lights don’t last long enough or quit working altogether. This is the only light I will use to read in bed because I can shine the lights on both pages independently and they don’t wake my husband. I’ve bought these lights for other family members after they saw mine. I highly recommend.

great lamps – We are using these for a senior citizen handchime group. The lamp is attached to the notebook with music in it. Our one gal’s eye doctor is very impressed and thinks it is a great solution for additional light.
