Almost what I expected – I purchased these egg shakers for use with my ukulele club at my elementary school. I have always liked Nino musical instruments for use with students for their quality and durability, and I found these egg shakers at a nice price. However I was disappointed in that the product information said the shakers came in the colors, “Aubergine, Grass Green, Orange, Sky Blue.” As you can see in the photo, I received yellow, dark green, dark blue, and red. This is not what I was promised. The quality is still fine, but I did not get the colors described in the product information, which is why I left a 4 star review.

Broke within 24 hours – Specifically chose this brand because we use the same at our local library. One of our shakers opened the same day they were opened, leaving numerous tiny beads exposed to my small children.

Love! – My son (10 months) wont put them down, they are his favorite, they are bigger than the ones my sister in law had which was what I was going for but once I got them in and they were higher I was pleased as he tried to put it in his mouth but it’s too large to choke on, any smaller and he could have so it worked out!

Best money I’ve ever spent. – These are without a doubt my son’s favorite things he owns. He takes a music class and when they have instrument time, he always chose the eggs. We decided we have to have some at home because he likes them so much. They fit in his little hands perfectly since he was about 7 months. He loves to shake them along with music, when he is excited, when he isn’t excited…anytime. He has even created his own game of trading the eggs when you play along with him. It also helped him with mastering switching things between hands and shaking them holding one in each hand. As a bonus for parents, the sound isn’t intrusive at all. The eggs are durable also. He throws them around, drops them, bangs them…and they haven’t shown any signs of cracking or damage after owning them about 2 months. The other day we misplaced them and almost went on to order more immediately because we can’t live without them. I definitely recommend for anyone, especially if you child seems at all interested in music.
