The best thing about this pedal is it’s slim design and … – I’ve tried all of the various cajon pedals that are currently available. The best thing about this pedal is it’s slim design and durable direct drive operation. It can be played with the heel over the bar, or with the ball of the foot on top of the bar. The only drawback of this design is that it’s somewhat difficult to play doubles due to the fact that it cannot be played with the heel down or leg extended (hence, only 4 stars overall).

This Thing Rocks! – First Off, let me say, I DONT ever write product reviews. I have been playing guitar for over 15 years and saw this product and needed to give it a try. I already had a Cajon and used the back of my heal to try to get a beat while playing my guitar with limited volume. This product solved that issue. It is very easy to set up and use. Great quality and sound. If your looking for a simple device to allow to you play your guitar and Cajon at the same time, this is the perfect product for you…. LOVE IT!!!!!

I really like this compact design! – I really love this cajon pedal. Searched high & low trying to figure out which one to buy. I like this because it doesn’t use a cable that breaks. It uses chain. I use my heal to kick the pedal which is more intuitive for me. It does take up a lot of room on the drum face, so I move the beater just off center to allow me to still play the base hit with my hand as well. I think the soft flat padded beater makes a nice sound. The metal bar that you heal kick with is a little hard to get used to playing, it is a little skinny but it is a slim design which stows away nicely. I recently played a gig for 5 hours and it held up just fine and didn’t move. It will take a little getting used to but overall I am happy!

ROCKS HARD FOR HOURS! Needs a better cajon clamp bar… – The bracket that holds it to the cajon is welded very poorly. Mine broke i received a second pedal as a replacement and the weld was equally bad.
