good for beginners – Good value for your money. these are good for beginners and are easy to assemble, they come with a note and fingering chart which is very helpful. they are just plastic and not very sturdy, some of the instruments I received were loose and the mouthpiece/end piece would fall off after a short period

Doesn’t Disappoint on Any Level – Great, reliable recorders for an affordable price! As far as the sound review/opinion: Once you learn to play, it sounds a lot better! The recorders don’t feel cheap, they’re very sturdy and solid when handling. They’re also super easy to clean which I usually use a dawn/water base solution and give it time to dry. I’m not sure if I’ll ever need to upgrade to pricier ones but I think these will do any new learner good even up to his or her master level.

Out of tune, but ideal to see if kids are interested – Low C was out of tune on all 4 recorders. However, I got this 4 pack a few weeks ago to see which kids were interested in recorder. The verdict is: all 4 records are missing. I could have paid about $40 for 4 higher quality recorders just to find out the same thing, so in a way I saved myself from wasting $22. I can only recommend these for a small group of kids, to see which ones (or any) have an interest in recorder/music, otherwise you should spend the extra $4 per recorder for one’s that are in tune.
