    Quality – I was expecting cheap materials for this price, but it’s actually pretty heavy duty. He’s almost 3 and picked up on it right away. Enough to go around so it’s quite a symphony when we all play.

    Cheap toys for kids – I got these for when kids in my church want to play my harmonica. Instead, I let them play with one of these. I can carry a few of these in my bag so more than one of them can have a bit of fun, without sharing germs with each other. They like the bright colors and they can’t tell the difference between these and decent harmonicas because the sounds they make with these would be virtually identical to what they would make with a nicer one. But, I did try to play one of these and it is very difficult to even try to squeak out a major scale, and many of the reeds are out of tune. But they perfectly meet my need for cheap, colorful harmonicas that I can hand to a child, instead of sharing one of my nicer ones.
