Can’t go wrong with this for a workhorse utility DI box – I’ve been using Pyle DI boxes for years connecting bass guitar, keyboards, acoustic guitars, and tablets to our PA at church. They’ve been rock-solid and provide a good, clean audio connection to the system for anything I’ve thrown at them. We recently added another guitar player and needed another DI for him, so I ordered another. I’m pleased to report the new version seems even better-made than the old!

Rugged and beefy – I bought this DI box to connect an old Yamaha keyboard to a PA mixer. This box allows you to connect an XLR cable (the type of jacks normally used for headphones and guitars) to a microphone type of cable. XLR cables are noisy and not good for really long cable runs. Microphone cables are designed for long runs. This DI converter box was dirt cheap ($10), but unbelievably beefy in construction. Looks, feels, and sounds like professional grade equipment. It is a tad larger than my other DI box, probably about 1.2 times the size of a standard full size guitar pedal. But unless you have some peculiar need for a smaller DI enclosure, this one should handle your needs nicely. Happy with the purchase, and amazed by the low price.

These are incredibly for the price – I originally bought only one but, now since bought a total of 4 because they are so good. They are on all my pedal boards.

Utter no brainer – Another company is selling the exact box for three times as much. If you’re a studio type, you need DI boxes. I couldn’t build one this cheap. Get a couple while you can. I’ve been using this to run my bass and it fine. Ground lift works (if you’re into hum) and pad(s) work as expected.

What do you want for $10 – This is a basic function DI box. If you want to take it out on your next stadium tour, your call, but for you guys only playing small arenas, clubs, pubs and such, you get your money’s worth.
