Great sound! – I love this tuning fork and the high quality note it plays. I like it so much I have already given some as gifts. The tone is great for relaxing. I had never used a tuning fork before for relaxation, but it seems to work.

Elated! – After reading several conflicting reviews about the length of the tone, I was nervous it wouldn’t ring for long. I had a helper and we used a stopwatch while I struck the fork and held it very close to my ear and indicated when I could no longer hear the tone. As far as my hearing goes, the sound became undetectable after 32 seconds. That’s a good long tone! People reviewing saying it doesn’t ring for long are either striking it too close to the base or may have partial hearing loss.

Length of vibration – This tuning fork is beautifully shiny and comes with a cinchable cloth bag, dinger, and cleaning cloth. What I noticed though was that the vibration lasted a much shorter time than the C&G set of tuning forks I had received from Omnivos. So, I ordered a 528hz from Omnivos and as with the other tuning forks from Omnivos, the 528hz holds its vibration over a minute.
