a bit frustrating – The arrangements seem odd to me. I’m a pretty good player and have used several books in the past. There is no CD to listen to and the fingering rerquired in these arrangements seems almost impossible to follow. Using the chords as a reference and picking up a few licks here and there is about the best you can expect. I listened to some of these tunes on youtube in order to get even close to what I needed to play.

Great, lots of detail – Alot of these songs will feel like the have same intro but still, lots of great tabbed out detail that really works well to get the feel of a song. I hate buying these books and only getting basic chord info. This really provides some nice ideas if you are wanting to blues up your uke

I’m having a great time learning riffs – This is much easier to play than I thought it would be, which is a delightful surprise. I’m having a great time learning riffs, and I sound so much better than I actually am. One of my favorite uke books.

I have and put it down and now it is … – I have and put it down and now it is just collecting dust. This book seems to be only tabs for bass accompaniment for his songs. So, when is the CD to accompany the book coming out?

What could be better? – Robert Johnsons music is inspiring to say the least, and with some of his greatest songs set up for playing on the ukulele is fun. This book has me playing along to the legends music on my uke. Robert Johnsons music is awesome, and great fun to play on the uke. Enjoy!

I love Robert Johnson and the availability of this songbook for ukulele – I’m glad for a ukulele Robert Johnson song book. I love the Mississippi Delta blues and play several other of the old blues artist songs on the uke. So far I have only worked on “Kind Hearted Woman”, but I like the bluesy chords and riffs. There are many CDs with all of Robert Johnson’s original recordings on them. Every song in this book is covered on those CDs so that will help anyone that is unfamiliar with all of the tunes. I hope to be able to play them all some day.

great book for intermediate or advanced player – Excellent book, I play both GCEA and Baritone uke. Get a Hal Leonard Chord Finder for Uke- either or both type and this helps if you are puzzled by some of the chords. While it may not have any instructions or diagrams for chords- it’s a treasure for the intermediate or advanced player.
