It does the job! – I’m rehabbing a 1913 cornet which, of course, had a stuck mouthpiece. Who knows how many decades it had been stuck! It was stuck when I bought the horn in a pawnshop in 1964.

Terrible puller. It damaged my trumpet – I’ve worked at my family’s music shop since I was a little kid. I’ve pulled hundreds of mouthpieces. There’s a reason the bobcat is the standard. This puller is trash. It slipped over the edge of my lead pipe and scraped the finish. It didn’t even get the mouthpiece off. It was bad. Don’t buy it.
