Indispensable – I use this on my alto trombone to help with tuning during my practice sessions. It is in indispensable tool.

amazing for any tuning – just great for both mic and vibration tuning

Accurate! – I never owned a tuner before, so it’s very foolproof. It misses 1 note in about 15 notes, even right next to the string, but other than that it works great!

maybe not as accurate as earlier version – Does not seem as accurate as my older Snark tuner. It quickly gets you in the ballpark, but despite the arrow pointing to the note, there seems to be a lot of play on either side of true pitch. One can audibly tune a banjo string up or down (sharp or flat) just a bit, and the Snark arrow still reads that it’s true pitch.

I Works!! – Love It!!!!!

Life of tuner, 2-3 Years for met. An Honest perspective.. – This has been a great tuner, print is easy to read, good features and great usability, never even had to change the battery… For about 2 years of moderate usage with my Strat and Epi Les Paul, then one of the prongs broke on the back, which seems to be a bit of a failure point for several users, and its just not useable anymore and I don’t want to mess around trying to fix it. But the latest model is half what I paid for this so I’ll probably upgrade, maybe look at a different brand. It seems that it has a short life cycle, at least in my case. Bummer, because it still works great, just have no way to affix it easily anymore.

Plethora of tuners – I’ve had many tuners, some work ok on guitar, but not mandolin; some don’t pickup the strings unless you are very forceful. I now have three of these and they are very good on multiple instruments

Maybe I’m doing it wrong – I’ve had a lot of snark tuners over the years, and this one is less accurate than some of the older ones. I’ve tried it on a few guitars a ukelele and a banjo, and this new one seems to “lock” on “tuned” to the note, which means the string can be off by a bit, and this tuner says it’s on, while the older one says it’s low.
