The notes are not even close to being accurate. It made Twinkle Twinkle sound like Nightmare Before Christmas. But this full size one sounds accurate. I had fun playing on it trying to figure out more songs. Nice wood.

How fun! – I have to stay off my feet for a bit so I was looking for things to do while sitting. This came up so I thought I would give it a try. The finger piano arrived quickly. It is a pretty, wood-grained instrument. It came with a velvet like carrying case, instruction book, a little metal hammer, some colored stickers and two rubber thimble like covered for your thumbs. As I am a pianist, the first thing I checked was the tuning. It was very close to being in tune, but the E6 just made a thudding sound. I read through the instruction manual and there was nothing about how to actually tune this and nothing about the tuning hammer. There is also nothing in there on what to do with the stickers. The manual does provide you with some very basic instructions on how to play this along with some music. It is definitely a learning experience to read music from bottom to top and have notes sideways! If the manual was better, this would be a five star product. Regardless, I am looking forward to playing around with this and making some music while I am off my feet.

I watched a few YouTube videos on how it worked after reading instructions. They showed this exact unit and it sounded amazing being played by someone who had learned it. Can’t wait to get that good. Sure it won’t take too long. The one thing I wasn’t real sure about was the thumb guards. First, I’m a big guy and the things wouldn’t fit any of my fingers. But after watching YouTube I took note that the people playing them didn’t use them anyways. So no big problem there.
