Use it several times a day… – My senior Lab has a sore hip. She was very skeptical of the tuning fork at first. She likes things better if she thinks it’s her idea. But her tail started wagging (all on its own…?) while I was holding the tuning fork close to her hip. Now I use them on her and on me. Mine is a 136.1. I ordered a 528 today.

Great fork – This fork is machined well, has a nice finish and a good pitch. I’ve used it in session for acupressure and relaxation. It works as designed to and holds the pitch for a good amount of time. The mallet material is very soft and subdues the audible tone so is more useful for producing strong vibration for massage rather than an audible pitch for sound therapy. If the user needs a more audible pitch they should use a different more firm mallet than the one provided.

Great sound but storage bag smells like strong mothballs – The tuning for has a wonderful sound. But the storage bag reeks of a mothball-like smell. It’s very unpleasant.
