The kids loved them. It may have been hand carved with … – Just as expected. I use this as a special award (Medicine Man Award) out our Sacred Fire as a part of Native Sons and Daughters Pow-Wow! The kids loved them. It may have been hand carved with machine. It is still very nice, but the details appears to be completed by a machine. The kids loved them and I heard beautiful music all weekend camping. Thank you!

Striking detail poor sound – First off I would like to note how absolutely beautiful this looks in person. I’ve never been one to pay attention to beauty, but that’s all I can notice of this particular flute.

Fancy looking, not great playing – I was looking for a decorative item for the book shelves so this worked great for that.But if you are wanting to buy it for playing I would not recommend this flute. First the holes are way to big even my fat fingers went more into the holes than covering them. Second the mouth piece was tilted to the side making it not match up with the holes. Third the tuning was way off. But as I said I was buying this flute for decoration, for that it works perfect. I have three wood playing flutes, that are great for playing but also cost about three times as much. Would also recommend for children the sound is great to irritate parents.

It is a beautiful flute. My daughter loves how it looks – It is a beautiful flute. My daughter loves how it looks. The only thing is she has difficulty getting it to play with a clear tone. Keep in mind it is still new and she is young, so I am going to see if she learns how to play it better as she plays with it. Overall though I am happy with the product.

beautiful! – The carving on this flute is very well done and intricate. The key is interesting, but it has a wonderful sound. There was a small patch of wood dust and glue on the bottom of the flute where it looked as though it had been patched, but it was a well made fix. Very nice.
