I can’t describe the terrible noise this thing makes. – We don’t pay music teachers enough money to listen to a room-full of kids blowing into these horrible things. 5 stars I guess… only because I’ve never heard one that was better?

Glorified whistle – More of a toy than a musical instrument! Very loud and piercing so be careful using it around dogs!

My daughter is so excited about this! – My daughter is so excited about this! She needed this for school and instead of buying the plain ones the school offers I decided to check amazon. I choose transparent red, transparent yellow and black for her. They are her favorite teal colors! She did test them out and they sound like nails on a chalkboard, just like the ones the school sells! Success! Now here is to listening to her practice over the next two years!! Anyone have a good ear plug recommendation? Preferably something she won’t notice I’m wearing so I can kindly bob my head along to the screeching that will surely still penetrate any ear plugs I do find.
